I truly am in awe right now.
Two years ago I read a story in the travel section of our local newspaper about these elephants in Thailand (Maesa Elephant Camp) who paint pictures. The story included a couple of black and white pictures. I was so blown away by the idea of elephants who could paint pictures of flowers that I tore those pictures out of the paper and put them in my vision file. I guess I thought that if an elephant could be an artist, what stops me from doing anything I desire in life??
I was surprised when I went to my file just now and pulled those pictures because I actually thought I saw that article last summer (it was still so vivid in my mind), but the article was from April 2, 2006!
I just happened across a video of one of those elephants, and this is so much more amazing than the story and pictures I originally saw… Please enjoy it and let me know if you are as awestruck as I am.
