Dream it into your life

The ancestor of every action is a thought.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

I want to get more good stuff into my day, and I realize that in order to do that I should know what is the “good stuff” I want?

To find out, I spend some valuable time DayDreaming (visualizing) and thinking about what makes a day feel well-lived.

For me, a well-lived day includes meditation/prayer, exercise (feeling the energy flow thru my body), connection to those I love, time to learn something new, good food, writing and/or coaching. Those are the basics and can be added to in many fun and exciting ways!

Thinking about my day (thought) leads me to the action of planning (pre-paving) the essentials into my day. I like to spend some time really getting into that feeling place of experiencing days with all of my basics. What a good-feeling foundation! I know that days that include all of my basics feel much better than days where something is missing.

My basics correspond to my deepest values, and when I am living in touch with my values then I am blissfully skipping along the joy path of life.

Do you know what your basics are for a day well-lived and enjoyed? Give yourself the gift of a few moments to think about it, and really appreciate yourself for those things in your daily life that truly honor who you BE.

Create a great day!
